Counselling & Psychotherapy

Lend A Hand specialises in one to one counselling and psychotherapy for individuals who are suffering from mental health issues such as Anxiety, Stress, Bereavement, Depression, Anger and Addiction Issues. In conjunction with one to one services, Lend a Hand offer creative therapies such as Play Therapy and Sandplay Therapy.

Lend A Hand offers the space where individuals can engage in their personal and professional development resulting in them feeling more connected, confident, and capable in their daily lives. 

Drugs & Alcohol Rehabilitation Counsellor

Lend A Hand offers services supporting individuals who are in rehabilitation from drug and alcohol addiction.  Mary is a member of the Connacht GAA Health and Wellbeing committee which is proactive in the use of alcohol, drugs and gambling in the organisation and the committee are constantly pushing the boundaries in relation to Policy changes. Mary’s involvement in this committee keeps her connected, informed and complements her training in Community Drug and Alcohol Work which she obtained in Urrús and UCD.

Jungian Sandplay Therapy

Lend A Hand offers Sandplay Therapy in conjunction with Talk Therapy. Sandplay Therapy is valuable for clients at both ends of the spectrum: those who tend to rationalise too much and those who don’t like talking at all. Sandplay Therapy is particularly useful for those who haven’t been heard, individuals with learning difficulties and is useful for both adults and children alike.
